At the end you feel a unique bond with the other Kickboxers that only comes from feeling like you tackled something together.

According to research, the average kickboxer burns approximately 800-1,000 calories in one i love kickboxing session. It would take hours of boredom on the treadmill to reach those results. ef3 is a place that can really deliver results, faster than any cardio class at your local gym could possibly do. Weight Loss is About Diet and Exercise is a Big Fat Lie.

Show Me Somebody Who Says Weight Loss Is About Diet and Exercise and I'll Show You a Liar. If weight loss is about diet and exercise then show me the evidence of why America, the most "diet and exercise" spending country is increasingly fatter.

Why is heart disease still increasing?


Why is obesity still on the rise?


Pick up virtually any magazine or publication, turn on any channel or news website and you'll find articles or ads for weight loss or exercise. Why? Simple, this is where the money is.

People are seeking it, but I'm here to tell you that it is the wrong questions to ask.

Weight loss is not about diet and exercise, the local gym, the newest infomercial in home exercise workout program.

Weight loss is not about the new religious pursuit of veggitarianism.

Weight loss is not about starving.

The answer is much simpler and more profound.


It's about lifestyle.


I know what you're probably thinking... I'm playing with semantics. Not at all. Stay with me here and your own experience and gut will tell you what I'm sharing is totally true.

A lifestyle is made up habits. Your habits are developed by experiences which shape our beliefs.

For example, if you were raised in Okinawa, your expectation of a meal is primarily ocean based vegetables and proteins with some rice or noodles.

You believe, as you have been culturally conditioned that you should eat at regular intervals.

You believe that you should only eat until satisfied (about 70% full).

You believe that too much sugar is unhealthy so you avoid it.

You believe that tea is refreshing, good and healthy.

Tea is to be shared with friends and its intertwined into the social fabric of a good lifestyle.

You believe in balance and moderation is key in all things.

You walk or bike as a reward and "break" to enjoy the day.

Your treats are ones that are healthy for you - not unhealthy.

So am I suggesting that you eat like an Okinawan? Not at all. Although it has some strong points. Okinawa has some of the oldest living people with the highest quality of life. They have a very high percentage of centenarians
(people living past 100 years of age).

The reasons all of those are accepted is because of the brain.

The brain has been conditioned to accept these ideals, these norms or memes.

Have You Ever Rejected an Idea, Even if True, Because It Seemed Too Simple?

Sometimes when something is profoundly simple we must reject it because our brain wants to justify and rationalize a complex answer. The benefit? If it is too difficult, then it is understandable and justifiable for you to not be responsible. If you're not responsible then you can blame somebody else for your situation. If you can blame someone or a company then you do not have to change it or feel guilty.

There you have it. A nasty vicious circle.

Perfectly protected from ever having to change.

To humans, change is painful.

1. Everyones body and biochemistry are different.

Difficult isn't it?
In fact, few people can name successful programs who are armed with the data. Research shows that diet programs, surgery and the commercially available programs don't work long term. In fact, one research study showed that most people gain MORE weight after 5 years of 'successfully' losing weight on a diet. The third blind man touched the elephant ear and said that it was a piece of cloth. The fourth blind man hold on to the tail and described the elephant as a piece of rope. And all of them ran into a hot argument about the "appearance" of an elephant.
The Master asked the citizens: "Each blind man had touched the elephant but each of them gives a different description of the animal. Which answer is right?"

4. Most report that their body feels a bit ill, sluggish or upset when they return and start eating the US diet again.
